This program brings together some of the best coaching talent in the area that puts the development of athletes first. The mission is to develop young athletes to be the best they can on and off the mat. When this occurs, young athletes will develop into leaders and excellent athletes for their clubs and school districts. This program provides a neutral training program that will work with all school districts and wrestling clubs in the area.
All of our programs are designed to help develop wrestlers at all levels and support the local wrestling talent and clubs. Our club teams allow wrestlers to wrestle for our club and also their school. We leave this option to each wrestler and parent, and we offer local club coaches support to help develop wrestlers that are having trouble in specific areas.
We are a group of volunteers, coaches and staff that believe in being a beacon of light in our community to help change peoples lives with wrestling and community service. We all share the common belief that the sport of wrestling creates humble warriors that can be great leaders in society.
We want these leaders to develop their skills on the mat and off the mat and contribute to make our community a better place. We partner ourselves with programs and local organizations that promote life building skills and values that encourage:
The T3 comes from the Tomeo family and stands for Tomeo Triquetra Training. The triquetras include Dream, Focus and Succeed and Mind, Body and Soul. We believe that by setting a Dream, Focusing hard work and effort into it that an individual can Succeed at wrestling and in life. This also requires keeping our Mind, Body and Soul strong at all levels to be the best version of ourselves that we can be each day and overcome challenges. The T3 symbol represents our school of coaching and how we use a sport to help our athletes, coaches, and parents be the best version of themselves each day, while helping build our community and create pathways for athletes that change their lives for the better.
We chose the Punishers for our team name because of our leaderships mission to help our local veterans that have fought and died for our freedom. The Punisher symbol is used by many of our armed forces. We adopted this symbol because wrestling is a combat sport of warriors including ancient warriors like the Spartans and Romans and still occurs to this day with our armed forces. We use this symbol as an opportunity to teach our athletes about charity and taking care of our community. Throughout the year we have events to raise funding, awareness and show respect for our veterans. This includes events like our Salute to Service tournament which donates to local veterans, as well as team service gatherings where we make cards for the veterans in the Soldiers and Sailors home. No matter what a persons view is on war, we believe that our veterans should be treated with respect and all of us should help bring them back into society to help them recover from the horrors they may have witnessed.
